Mladen Jokmanovic

JUDO, JU JITSU, BRAZILIAN JIU JITSU

Born in Podgorica in 1987. Translator and interpreter of English and French language- IFL- University of Montenegro- Podgorica.

3rd Dan judo, 3rd Dan ju jitsu, Brazlilian jiu jitsu and grappling instructor.

The founder of Judo/ Ju jitsu club “Stara Varoš“ with an aim to make a serious martial arts clubs, dedicated to the progress of the athletes.

In 2006, as the only Montenegrin citizen with enough knowledge and motivation, he founded  the first BJJ  and grappling team in the country-  BJJ club  “Mata Leao“.

The president of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Federation of Podgorica.

Judo referee. Still an active competitor.

Trainer of the first Grappling national team 2011.

Awarded the title of best fighter at the International Olympic Sports Judo Cup 2005. Winner of many national and international judo competitions and championships.

Balkans ju jitsu champion and the owner of numerous other Balkans medals. Winner of many national and international ju jitsu tournaments. Multiple ju jitsu champion of Montenegro, and former  Serbia and Montenegro.

European ju jitsu cup silver medalist for seniors, absolute cathegory 2011.

5th place World senior grappling championship 2011, -90 kg gi

5th place World grappling championship, gi absolute, 2011.

World cup 2011 gold medalist, ju jitsu, absolute category.

World cup silver medalist ju jitsu.

First place in ju jitsu demonstration at the World cup 2011.

5th place at  senior Metiteranean freestyle wrestling championship -85 kg

Unfotunately, despite being qualified for the  following competitions,  lack of interest for martial arts of responsibles and other similar reasons, made him not  participate at  two World and one European Ju jitsu championships, European senior judo championship, Sambo European championship which would make the present  result list even longer.

The most important results are yet to come.

Born in Podgorica, in 1990. Student at the University if tourism and hotel management.

2nd Dan judo, 1st Dan ju jitsu, Brazilian jiu jitsu and grappling instructor.

The founder of Judo/ Ju jitsu club “Stara Varoš“ and BJJ club “Mata Leao“. Judo referee.

One of the most talented and the most promising competitors in his weight class.

Winner of the fourth place at the World Grappling Championship (gi, 70 kg ). Two times fifth place at the World Grappling Championship ( no gi - 70 kg and absolute category).

Multiple ju jitsu champion of Montenegro, Serbia and Montenegro and Yugoslavia. Balkans ju jitsu champion and multiple Balkans championship medalist. Winner of many national and international tournaments.

World cup 2011 winner - 75 kg, ju jitsu.

Winner of many national championships and international tournaments in Judo.

The most successful and decorated Brazilian jiu jitsu competitor in the country. Submission wrestling invitational tournament golden medalist.

Pero Kekovic

KARATE

Born in Podgorica in 1982. Senior undergraduate of the College of Hotel Management – Belgrade. One of the most decorated karate fighters of the new generation in Montenegro and a 2nd degree black belt in karate.

Cadet, Junior and senior national team member and multiple champion of Montenegro and former Serbia and Montenegro and Yugoslavia. Several times Balkans karate champion in both group kata and kumite. European University championship golden medalist. Fourth place at the World championship. Winner of many local, international, European and World tournament and cups.
