The members of our club that competed as a part of the national team at the world grappling championship in Belgrade, did well at the competition.

Danijel Krivokapic won the silver medal in a very tough category after defeating a Hungarian representative in the semifinals. In the finals he was stopped by the Polish fighter.

Marko Jokmanovic just did not have his day this time. The first day ‎ lost by the golden score rule in the overtime to a Ukrain fighter. The second day he had a leglock on a Canadian and the referee stopped the finalization and changed the course of the fight.

Mladen Jokmanovic fought for the third place twice in 90 kg gi and absolute gi against Japanese and Serbian fighter. He finished his apereance as fifth in both categories.

That means we took one silver and two fifth places which is not so bad  and we are looking forward to the next competition.
